The deceased’s son who grew to become livid by the event, joined by some street union employees attacked the docs and well being employees, chased them away and took away the corpse with out paying any medical invoice.

Following the event, the Affiliation of Resident Medical doctors (ARD), EKSUTH department, directed its members to embark on an indefinite strike with quick impact, which has paralyzed actions within the hospital.

The strike embarked upon by the Affiliation of Residents Medical doctors was contained in a letter addressed to the Chief Medical Director, Professor Kayode Olabanji and signed by the President of the Affiliation, Dr Well-known Adeyemi.

Reacting, the EKSUTH Spokesperson, Mrs Rolake Adewumi, who confirmed the incident, mentioned “The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) accountable for Oke- Ila division has commenced a manhunt to apprehend the culprits.”
