Hlompho Kekana was left highly irritated with two Kaizer Chiefs senior players.

The comes following the Glamour Boys’ CAF Confederation Cup qualification to the group stages.

The Amakhosi sealed their place in the group stages after defeating Congolese opponents Simba 3-1 on aggregate. The first leg ended in a goalless draw, with Chiefs doing the business at home in the second leg.

Kaizer Chiefs stars steal the limelight with their tricks

During Kaizer Chiefs’ 3-1 victory at the Dobsonville Stadium, Bradley Cross and Mduduzi Shabalala turned on the flare.

The Amakhosi duo pulled out some fancy tricks once the match was sealed. Take a look at some of the ‘showboating’ below.

Kekana slams Amakhosi duo

Mamelodi Sundowns legend Hlompho the was not impressed by the tricks though. Here’s what he had to say regarding Kaizer Chiefs duo Mduduzi Shabalala and Bradley Cross’ showboating.

“You have to respect the opponent, please. If they do that to you when you’re losing a match, I’m sure you can get a red card because you’ll want to kick them,” Kekana told KickOff.

“That is something I don’t condone as a former footballer because I know what it means when you’re losing the match and people start doing what we call showboating. That is for Philly’s Games.”

Kekana was a model professional throughout his career. It comes as no surprise that he wasn’t impressed by the Kaizer Chiefs duo’s way of seeing out the game.
