The Basic Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division, Nigerian Military, Maj.-Gen. Mayirenso Saraso, introduced the rescued kids to the governor on the Authorities Home, Kaduna.
Saraso, who can also be Commander of Operation WHIRL PUNCH, briefed Governor Sani on the profitable rescue of the varsity kids.
He mentioned six out of the kids are receiving therapy at an Military medical facility within the state.
Saraso disclosed that one kidnapped workers of the varsity merely recognized as Abubakar died in captivity.
Gunmen suspected to be bandits on March 7 kidnapped scores of pupils and academics at LGEA Major Faculty in Kuriga, Chikun LGA.
