The Lagos State Authorities has directed all main and unbiased petroleum entrepreneurs working alongside main roads within the State to open between 9am and 4pm on weekdays.
The federal government warned any operator who refuses to adjust to the directive henceforth could be closely sanctioned.
The directive, in response to the federal government, is to assist scale back the affect of their actions on the visitors state of affairs, which continues to worsen because the shortage of the important commodity lingers.
Lagos Commissioner of Transportation Dr Frederic Oladeinde directed all unbiased and main oil entrepreneurs with shops on main roads throughout the metropolis of Lagos to adjust to the directive.
Oladeinde stated the 9am to 4pm order could be sustained till the gasoline scarcity disaster subsides.
He added that the Lagos State Site visitors Administration Authority (LASTMA), Automobile Inspection Service (VIS), Transport Operations Compliance Unit (TOCU) and different Legislation Enforcement Companies have been charged to make sure seamless movement of visitors throughout the State.
