Fox announcer will get emotional as Max Johnson’s mother reacts to UNC QB’s leg harm: ‘Arduous for me’

Brock Huard had some perspective to supply when North Carolina quarterback Max Johnson went down with a season-ending harm on Friday evening.

“My mother was a three-time quarterback mother,” Huard mentioned on the Fox broadcast. “It’s a tough job. It’s sort of like a pastor’s spouse. It may be a really lonely place.

Johnson was carted off the sector and later confirmed to have a damaged leg.

The damaged leg was confirmed on Saturday morning, which means Johnson will miss the rest of the season.
