The federal authorities has supported Katsina with N3 billion to assemble the College of Agriculture buildings on the state-owned Umaru Musa Yar’adua College at Layin Minista in Malumfashi LGA.

The varsity’s vice-chancellor, Sunusi Mamman, disclosed this to journalists on Saturday in Katsina.

He stated Governor Aminu Masari solicited for N3 billion from the federal authorities by the Tertiary Schooling Belief Fund and that the state authorities added N1 billion to execute the challenge.

Mr Mamman counseled Mr Masari for sourcing the fund from the federal authorities and for releasing the N1 billion counterpart fund for the challenge.

He stated the buildings comprised lecture theatres, administration block, laboratories, ranching space and animal breeding spots, amongst others.

The vice-chancellor defined that the buildings had been handed over to the college for its use.
