FEC Approves N129bn for Ogoni Cleanup

The Federal Financial Council has authorised the sum of N129.8bn for varied tasks within the Ministry of Niger Delta, significantly the mandate of the United Nations Setting Programme on Ogoni cleanup.

Approval was additionally given for the award for the contract for the remediation of newly recognized hydrocarbon impacted websites alongside the shoreline of Ogoni land and that is for about N107bn.”
