Power spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi made the announcement on Wednesday in Abuja.

He stated the CPs affected by the deployment had been Abubakar Lawal, Kano, Kolo Yusuf, Zamfara and Ahmed Ammani, Enugu State.

Mr Adejobi stated the deployment of Lawal to Kano State adopted the retirement of the previous CP, Samaíla Dikko.

He stated Mr Lawal, a local of Daura in Katsina, holds a Bachelor’s Diploma in Sociology from the Ahmadu Bello College, Zaria and had served in varied capacities since his commissioning as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1990.

Mr Yusuf, the brand new CP in control of Zamfara hailed from Niger and holds a Bachelor of Regulation Diploma. He’s a member of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation.
