Ethiopia to Host 2024 World EOC Simulation Train, Strengthening Public Well being Emergency Preparedness

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, November 13-14, 2024 – The Ethiopian Public Well being Institute (EPHI) and WHO Ethiopia will host the 2024 World Emergency Operations Heart Simulation Train (GEOCX), organized by WHO’s Emergency Operations Centre Community (EOC-NET). This train goals to bolster the capability of Public Well being Emergency Operations Facilities (PHEOCs) worldwide to organize for and reply to well being emergencies.

GEOCX 2024 is a large-scale purposeful simulation train involving over 70 Member States from the six WHO areas, designed to check the readiness and response coordination capabilities of Public Well being Emergency Operations Facilities (PHEOCs).
