Members of the All Progressives Congress, Etsako West Chapter in Delta State, on Tuesday, protested the alleged deliberate return of the impeached deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, to the celebration.

The protesters who got here from the 12 wards within the council space marched to the celebration secretariat to submit their petition towards the transfer.

Presenting a communique on behalf of the APC stakeholders in Etsako West LGA, Yakubu Musa mentioned Shaibu’s exit from the APC in 2020 introduced peace and tranquillity to the celebration, noting that the previous deputy governor’s return would convey rancour and disunity to the celebration.

Musa mentioned, “We’re protesting over an try by the impeached deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, to leap the boat and defect to the APC.

“The try is considered critically by members of APC as a calculated plan by Shaibu to convey rancour, disharmony, and unprecedented disaster into APC.”

Musa appealed to the Nationwide Chairman of the celebration, Abdullahi Ganduje,  Senator Adams Oshiomhole and the State Appearing Chairman, Jaret Tenebe, to not permit the impeached deputy governor into APC, saying that Shaibu has no political worth so as to add to the APC.

He added, “It’s on report that Philip Shaibu has not gained any election since he left APC for the PDP. He doesn’t possess any electoral worth that might warrant his readmittance into our nice celebration.
