Ebenezer Olufowose replaces Tunde Odukale as chairman of FirstBank

Tunde Hassan-Odukale has formally stepped down as Chairman of First Financial institution of Nigeria Restricted, following the expiration of his tenure.

Ebenezer Olufowose has been appointed as the brand new Chairman. Olufowose, who joined the FirstBank Board as a Non-Govt Director in April 2021, brings a robust portfolio of expertise spanning over three many years within the monetary sector.

Previous to his new function, Olufowose served because the Group Managing Director of First Ally Capital Restricted, a notable investment banking agency in Lagos.

FBN Holdings disclosed this in an official submitting of the corporate revealed on the Nigerian Alternate.

Tunde Hassan-Odukale exit marks the tip of a 12-year tenure on the board, whichi is in step with the tenure pointers set by the Central Financial institution of Nigeria for Non-Govt Administrators.

He joined the Board of First Financial institution of Nigeria Restricted as a Non-Govt Director in 2011. He’s the Managing Director of Leadway Assurance Firm Restricted.
