Drake wins $2.7million after placing two huge bets on Israel Adesanya to defeat Alex Pereira at UFC 287

Rapper Drake has gained a whopping $2.7million after Israel Adesanya knocked out Alex Pereira at UFC 287 to reclaim the middleweight title.

The Nigerian-born New Zealander gained again the 185lb title simply 5 months after he misplaced it to his bitter rival Pereira, who has beforehand overwhelmed him twice in kickboxing. Drake misplaced $1.6million after backing Adesanya to win in that battle however he made amends for the rapper in his rematch with Pereira.


In keeping with Mirror UK, the Canadian positioned a $500,000 wager on Adesanya to win which returned $885,000, and a $400,000 wager for him to win by knockout, which returned a large $1.8million.

‘Stylebender’ was requested about Drake’s wager after his battle, to which he stated: “Shoutout to everybody that wager on me however it’s important to realise that once I step into the octagon I put my life on the road. That is the largest parlay you’ll be able to ever do. I am a betting man too so shoutout to stake, we’re about to make one other deal and get extra money.”
