Domestic worker arraigned for allegedly stealing former employer

The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned one Victor Williams earlier than a Yaba Magistrates’ Courtroom for allegedly stealing a financial institution cheque belonging to his former employer, Alhaji Adekunle Moshood.

Williams was accused of additionally forging Moshood’s signature on the cheque and withdrawing over N2m from the account.

Williams was arraigned earlier than Justice of the Peace P. E. Nwaka on three counts of stealing and forgery on Thursday, April 20.

The police prosecutor, Thomas Nurudeen, instructed the courtroom that the offence contravened and is punishable beneath Sections 411 and 287(1) of the Legal Regulation of Lagos State.
