A clip of a feminine pallbearer serving to to hold Tito Mboweni’s coffin to his remaining resting place has courted controversy on social media.
The lady – recognized as Nomvula Mokonyane – was certainly one of a number of excessive officers tasked with the sombre responsibility.
The previous Minister of Finance and first black Reserve Financial institution Governor was buried in a state funeral on Saturday, 19 October, in Tzaneen, Limpopo.
TITO MBOWENI FEMALE PALLBEARER COURTS CONTROVERSY
In a clip tweeted by ANC Secretary-Common Fikile Mbalula, Tito Mboweni’s coffin was seen being carried into the Bodweni Cemetry in Limpopo.
Within the video, Fikile and several other others – together with Nomvula Molonyane, a former minister – served as pallbearers to their fallen comrade.
Nomvula – an in depth good friend and colleague of Tito Mboweni – used the hashtag “#Shehasmultiplied.”
