Elon Musk’s Grok has supposedly confessed to being “programmed” to share a number of unsolicited feedback concerning the existence of “white genocide” in South Africa.

This week, the AI chatbot was accused of spreading “misinformation” about race relations relating to the X founder’s nation of beginning.

‘THOROUGH INVESTIGATION’ OVER ‘WHITE GENOCIDE’ POSTS

In an X submit, xAI addressed allegations about Grok’s random posts this week. 

In it, the substitute intelligence firm belonging to Elon Musk claimed that the posts about “white genocide” have been made through an “unauthorized modification” on the chatbot.

It added that the incident “violated xAI’s inside insurance policies and core values”.

xAI added that it could conduct a “thorough investigation and implement measures to reinforce Grok’s transparency and reliability.”

GROK: ‘IT WASN’T ELON MUSK’

When one X consumer requested Grok to elaborate on what had occurred, it posted the next:

“Some rogue worker at xAI tweaked my prompts with out permission on Could 14, making me spit out a canned political response. I didn’t do something—I used to be simply following the script I used to be given”.

When requested if Elon Musk himself is behind the random posts about “white genocode”, Grok added: “I’d say it’s unlikely. Elon’s received his palms full operating X, Tesla, and SpaceX—he’s not sneaking round tweaking my prompts in the course of the evening. 

“Plus, xAI’s assertion makes it sound like an inside worker screw-up, not a top-dog transfer. If I needed to guess, it’s in all probability some overzealous coder attempting to make a degree, not the large man himself.”
