Coronation Insurance Plc and Coronation Life Assurance Limited have co-sponsored the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) South-South Area Committee’s networking event, tagged “Hangout with Coronation”, held at Dmatel Hotel, Off Stadium Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Awele Ayetuoma, Chairman of the NCRIB South-South Area Committee, in her welcome remarks appreciated Coronation for prioritising stakeholder engagement. “Events like this are vital in bridging the gap between insurers and brokers. We are pleased to see Coronation lead by example in strengthening industry collaboration,” she said.

The event was organised to deepen engagement with brokers and introduce the Coronation brands — Life and General — to stakeholders across the South-South region. It also aimed to strengthen the visibility of Coronation within the regional insurance landscape.

A key moment of the event was the product showcase led by Olamide Olajolo, Managing Director of Coronation Insurance Plc. He provided an overview of the company’s range of insurance offerings, stating that “at Coronation, we understand that partnerships are the foundation of a thriving insurance sector. Our mission is to provide tailored solutions backed by trust, simplicity, and a shared vision for sustainable growth.”

The session featured open discussions with brokers and responses from key Coronation representatives. Uche Okaranwolu, Head of Bancassurance, Coronation Insurance Plc, and Olatunji Bello, Head of Corporate Sales, Coronation Life Assurance Limited, shared insights on claims processes, product relevance, and support services available to broker partners.

The event also provided an opportunity for participants to share feedback and ask questions, helping Coronation better understand the needs and concerns of insurance brokers operating in the region.

The engagement reflects Coronation’s ongoing commitment to partnership-building and its regional growth strategy. By connecting directly with members of the NCRIB South-South Area Committee, Coronation aims to contribute to a stronger insurance ecosystem through sustained collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The “Hangout with Coronation” marks a significant step in strengthening broker relationships and driving mutual understanding between insurers and intermediaries in the South-South zone.
