Substances

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon floor nutmeg
  • 1 massive egg, room temperature, flippantly crushed
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • CINNAMON SUGAR COATING:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon floor cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, mix the primary 7 substances. Mix egg, buttermilk, oil and vanilla; stir into dry substances simply till moistened. Pipe or spoon into 2 greased 6-cavity doughnut pans, filling cavities three-fourths full.
  2. Bake till a toothpick inserted within the heart comes out clear, 10-12 minutes. Cool for five minutes earlier than eradicating from pans to wire racks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix coating substances. Roll heat doughnuts in coating.
