Cholera: Benue data 16 suspected circumstances, 4 deaths

Benue State has recorded 4 deaths from suspected circumstances of cholera.

The State Epidemiologist, Dr Henry Ijabo, disclosed this to journalists on Thursday and said that 16 suspected circumstances had been recorded.

He added that the suspected circumstances had been observed in three native authorities areas of the state, Agatu, Otukpo, and Ado.

The epidemiologist stated, “The loss of life in suspected circumstances is 4, thoughts you, it’s suspected circumstances. We don’t have confirmed circumstances in Benue but.

“All that we have now are suspected circumstances. Out of the 16 suspected circumstances, 4 died, they exhibited signs which might be conserving with cholera however not confirmed.”

He stated that the 4 circumstances died whereas the investigation was nonetheless ongoing.
