Chinese language photo voltaic module makers announce new TOPCon plans

DAH Photo voltaic says it desires to succeed in 5.5 GW of TOPCon photo voltaic module capability by the top of this yr. Ronma Photo voltaic, in the meantime, says it desires to construct an 18 GW panel manufacturing facility in Jinhua, in China’s Zhejiang province.

DAH Solar is ramping up TOPCon photo voltaic cell and module capability at its manufacturing facility in Chaohu, in China’s Anhui province. The corporate goals to supply 5.5 GW of cells and a pair of.5 GW of modules by the top of 2023.

It began making TOPCon cells on the manufacturing facility earlier this month. It says that it’s going to start module manufacturing in Could.

DAH Photo voltaic says its determination to deal with TOPCon was pushed by excessive worldwide demand. It says it would use TOPCon cells for its full-screen PV module, which encompasses a frameless frontside.

In a separate growth, Chinese language module maker Ronma Photo voltaic says it plans to construct a TOPCon photo voltaic cell and module manufacturing facility in Jinhua, China’s Zhejiang province. It says it desires to take a position CNY 7.5 billion ($1.09 billion) within the new facility.

The producer says the manufacturing facility could have 10 GW of cell capability and 18 GW of module capability. It has not offering any further particulars.
