Catholic priest and 5 others arrested over alleged MASSOB affiliation

A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Aniebonem and 5 others have been detained by the anti-kidnapping part of the police at Awkuzu, Oyi Native Authorities Space, Anambra State over alleged membership of Motion for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).

Three individuals have been arrested throughout a raid of the group’s workplace alongside Awkuzu/ Otuocha street, Ifitedunu, Dunukofia Native Authorities Space of the state.

Confirming the report  to newsmen in a Onitsha, MASSOB Director of Info, Mazi Chris Mocha stated Mathew is being detained on the Space Command’s cell in Onitsha.
