The annual BusinessDay’s Future of Agric summit will hold tomorrow – Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Four Points by Sheraton in Lagos, bringing thought leaders, policy makers and industry stakeholders together in advancing agriculture in the country.

Themed, ‘From Seeds to Feed: Strengthening Agricultural Inputs for Food Security,’ will take a pragmatic approach, as focus areas will not be platforms to discuss problems. rather, to advance solutions that will fix germane problems plaguing the sector. 

Focus area for this year’s summit include Fixing Agricultural Inputs to Power Productivity and Food Security; as access to quality and affordable inputs remains a critical issue in Nigeria’s agricultural development. 

This summit aims to champion purposeful discuss on strategies to enhance and foster sustainable input models that will offer a definitive solution to this problem in the country. 

The second focus area will attempt to strengthen Agricultural Inputs for Food Security.

The event will have in attendance some notable dignitaries like the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Oluwarotimi Fashola, special adviser to the Lagos Governor on Agriculture and Food Systems. 

Also, Ayodeji Balogun, Group Chief Executive Officer at Africa Exchange (AFEX), who is a keynote speaker at the conference, will be sharing how farmers can access quality seeds that would boost food production and drive food security. 

Brilliant panellists will facilitate dynamic discussions on the compelling opportunities presented by engaging in agriculture in Nigeria, offering effective solutions to the challenge of seeds and how farmers can access them. 

A line up of some of the speakers include, AfricanFarmer Mogaji, chief executive officer of Agbado Value Chain Limited; Uche Bosan, group head of Corporate Banking at Coronation Merchant Bank; Chinedu Obialo, managing director of Safari C&C Limited; and Kola Masha, managing director, Babban Gana, among others.
