There was some very good Dallas Cowboys news reported on Tuesday afternoon.

Ahead of the team’s practice, head coach Brian Schottenheimer took the podium and addressed a variety of things. Among the matters that Schotty touched on was the subject of second-year tackle Tyler Guyton. You may not remember all the details since it was a few weeks ago, but Guyton suffered a bone fracture (after an ACL scare) that was set to sideline him 4-6 weeks.

It has been about two weeks since the injury occurred, so hearing from Schotty that Guyton is involved in walkthroughs is a piece of good news. At this point it is hard to tell whether or not Guyton will be available for the season opener against Philadelphia, the Eagles have some injury news along the offensive line as well, but ultimately it is hard to not feel pretty pumped about this.

Happy Tuesday one and all.
