Breaking: Y Combinator’s backs Ocular AI, a startup led by Zambian and Zimbabwean cofounders

Ocular AI, a Zimbabwean AI startup that lets groups inside organizations search, visualize, and automate workflows on a single platform, has been chosen for Y Combinator’s winter 2024 batch.

Based in 2024 by Microsoft and Google ex-employees Michael Moyo and Louis Murerwa, Ocular AI was born from their firsthand expertise after battling info scattered throughout many SaaS instruments. It’s the first Zimbabwean startup to be admitted into Y Combinator.
