BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu Will increase Lagos Employees’ Wage

Life-style Nigeria gathered that Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has elevated the salaries of employees within the state by 20 per cent, shortly after he secured a second time period in workplace.

In a round by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the governor reiterated his administration’s willpower to enhance the welfare and well-being of public servants in Lagos State.

These affected by the increment have been officers within the mainstream public service, native governments and native council growth areas, and the State Common Fundamental Training Board by 20 p.c with impact from January 1, 2023.

“Moreover, kindly observe that the arrears for the month of January 2023 will likely be paid together with salaries for the month of March 2023, whereas the arrears for the month of February 2023 will likely be paid along with the salaries of April 2023,” the assertion learn.



“This motion additional demonstrates this Administration’s dedication to Employees welfare. Public Servants are thus enjoined to point out extra dedication and dedication within the supply of qualitative service to the residents of the state.

“Accordingly, all Accounting Officers are to notice the contents of this round and provides it the service-wide publicity it deserves.”
