Afrigather Richard Ackom Quayson, the Deputy Commissioner of the Fee on Administrative Justice and Human Rights, handed away.
A notification dated March 22, 2024, bearing the signature of Mr. Henry Ashley, the Commissioner’s Director of Human Sources and Administration, revealed the loss of life, in accordance with a report by the state information company, GNA.
“It’s with a heavy coronary heart that we inform members of employees of the loss of life of our Deputy Commissioner (APR), Richard Ackom Quayson, who handed away unexpectedly on the twenty first of March 2024, after a brief sickness,” parts of the assertion reads.
Previous to becoming a member of the Fee in 1993 as a senior authorized officer, Mr. Ackom Quayson served as a authorized officer for the Workplace of the Ombudsman, the group that preceded CHRAJ, from 1987 to 1993.
He served because the Western and Central Areas’ regional director earlier than being named Deputy Commissioner.
In August 2005, he was named Deputy Commissioner of the Fee, the place he was accountable for public training, analysis, and the Fee’s anti-corruption mandate.
