BREAKING: INEC Postpones Governorship, State Meeting Elections Until…

Way of life Nigeria gathered that Barring any additional extensions, the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has reached a call to postpone Saturday’s Governorship and State Meeting elections to March 18, 2023.

A high INEC official in Rivers State who craved anonymity confirmed the event to Channels Tv on Wednesday night.



The electoral umpire, the supply added, will quickly launch an official assertion in regards to the postponement.

The postponement is as a result of Fee’s incapability to promptly start reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines utilized in the course of the February 25 presidential election to allow their use within the state elections.

INEC was earlier restrained from tampering with the data embedded within the BVAS machines till the due inspection was carried out and Licensed True Copies (CTC) issued to candidates who’re difficult the end result of the presidential election.
