The monarch urged these in management to place public curiosity above private and individualistic wishes, insisting that that is the one means Nigeria will develop.

He shared his issues over the financial state of affairs within the nation in Abuja on the public presentation of a e-book,’Daring Leap’ authored by Senator Chris Anyanwu.

His Royal Majesty warned that with the growing degree of corruption within the nation which is akin to milking a cow, the cow would quickly die if incorruptible milking was not stopped.

He condemned the perspective of the political class in the direction of accountability and good governance, likening it to the ignoble perspective to milking the cow constantly with out replenishing and sustaining it.

The Obi of Onitsha stated: “Ought to we proceed milking the cow, it would die. On this nation, since independence, we’ve been speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking. I believe it’s time we start to consider doing one thing as a result of now we have two alternate options. Hold milking the cow till it dies, due to our sectional pursuits, which we have a tendency to guard, and our private pursuits. Folks go into public service, to not serve the general public, however to serve their pursuits.

“Both we preserve doing that and milk the cow to demise, or we do the alternative and place Nigeria above all the things else.

“And I wish to add that point is just not an excessive amount of in our favour. It’s both we milk the cow to demise very, very quick, or we will flip across the nation very, very quick.”

Daring Leap, which had a gathering of Nigerians made up of former Presidents, ex- Presidents of the Senate, previous and current senators, and former governors is an autobiography of Senator Anyanwu with 600 pages, three components, and 19 chapters.
