We reported earlier this month about a variety of shootings on the properties and places of work of Democratic lawmakers within the Albuquerque area over the course of December and early January. Now Albuquerque Police Division has arrested Solomon Pena, a unsuccessful state home candidate in 2022, for the shootings.

The Albuquerque Police Division has arrested Solomon Pena, an unsuccessful Republican candidate for Home District 14 seat within the South Valley, in reference to the shootings at native Democratic politicians’ properties, the police chief introduced Monday afternoon.
“Pena, an unsuccessful legislative candidate within the 2022 election, is accused of conspiring with, and paying 4 different males to shoot on the properties of two county commissioners and two state legislators,” Chief Harold Medina mentioned.
