BREAKING: ASUU Extends Ongoing Strike

The Tutorial Employees Union of Universities (ASUU) has determined to increase its ongoing strike after a sequence of heated discussions.

Based on the PUNCH, the choice was taken after the Nationwide Government Council assembly on the union’s headquarters on the College of Abuja on Monday morning.

Recall the Nationwide Government Council (NEC) of the placing Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) held a gathering in Abuja over the lingering strike.

Naija News experiences that the assembly, which began on Sunday night time and slid into Monday morning, came about at its Nationwide Headquarters on the College of Abuja.

Members of NEC determined if they might name off the six-month strike or proceed with the commercial motion that entered the 196th day on Monday (immediately).

ASUU started its strike on February 14th.
