
Born in Lagos State, Nigeria, Bosun Tijani showed an early interest in technology and entrepreneurship. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and went on to receive a Master of Business Administration from Wits Business School in South Africa. He later completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan.
Building CcHub: A Bold Vision for Nigeria’s Tech Ecosystem
In 2010, Bosun co-founded the Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) in Lagos, Nigeria’s first dedicated technology innovation centre. Under his leadership as CEO, CcHub:
- Incubated Over 100 Startups: Helped launch successful companies such as Paystack, Lifebank, and Printivo.
- Secured Partnerships & Funding: Forged collaborations with global investors and organisations, channelling millions of dollars in seed capital to Nigerian innovators.

Transition to Public Service: Shaping National Digital Policy
In July 2023, Bosun Tijani was appointed Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy. In this role, he:
- Drives Policy Reform: Leads the creation and implementation of national strategies for broadband expansion, cybersecurity, and digital literacy.
- Champions Innovation Hubs: Advocates for funding and regulatory support to scale tech hubs, coding academies, and maker spaces nationwide.
