Bayern Munich’s sporting director Max Eberl is actively looking for a new winger after the departure of Leroy Sane to Galatasaray and has reportedly already submitted a €52 million offer to Liverpool for Luis Diaz. However, the Premier League champions are unwilling to let the Colombian star leave, having previously rejected the interest of Barcelona in his services.

As a result, Bayern have now identified Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard as a potential alternative if the Diaz deal falls through. According to Bild, the Belgian international, who has 45 caps, is being closely monitored by the German giants.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in 2023 for €27.5 million. While the Gunners are keen to extend his contract, the player has not yet committed, reportedly due to interest from Bayern and other top European clubs. Additionally, Trossard recently changed his representation and is now managed by German agent Dirk Hebel, which could further facilitate a move to the Bundesliga champions.

The 30-year-old could hardly be considered a regular starter at Arsenal, but he played an important role in 2024/25 as the attacking section of Mikel Arteta’s squad suffered numerous injuries.
