I have been so committed to having this putrid Abakaliki narrative fought, but you know I can only give opinions.

I’m not in government. I cannot enforce anything. So, be fair to me. If I have my way, I’ll not rest until something meaningful is done to at least nibble at it. It is not too complex to fight. I keep saying it that the Ebonyi State Government has the capacity to do something about it.

Akwaibom State did something like that under Akpabio and I think it is difficult to find people from that side doing those things they did in the past which demeaned them. How many are we in Ebonyi, moreover the North & Central. ?

To end “they hate us narrative, I have always suggested that when they cannot find you to work on their farmlands, houses, lift loads in wheelbarrows in the market for them, hawk wares on their streets and being housemaids to them, tell me who’ll hate you again. Yes, this won’t come through in just four years. What did I suggest further?

Let there be serious policies on basic education enrollment and enforcement, one skill acquisition institution for each senatorial zone, rural sensitization on marriage & childbearing, taking it to churches, markets, schools, town unions and getting Ebonyi unions in each major city outside Ebonyi moreover in Anambra & Imo States, getting traditional rulers involved, religious heads etc, invest in the agriculture sector and in the natural resources God blessed us with in plenitude and rural development.

But what do you see instead? Flyovers here and there with no vehicles to ply them and extra universities when EBSU remains comatose. Airport funding for ghouls to use.

German flooring of roads and sharing money to dead political stakeholders. When I raise the alarm, they use police against me, attacking my family in Awka. I have never begged for political appointment, contract or slots.

I don’t even want to be in government now. I must not be in government to be proficient to the government. Must all of us be in government at the same time?

They hate us, they hate us, but you are scattered in their rural communities giving birth and selling children?

Nonsense! How many of them are in your Ebonyi communities? They hate you and also nailed your buttocks to their place?

Little thing you allow yourself recruited into militia and other dirty things, spoiling opportunities and goodwill for some of us and you want us to be clapping for you? You go to someone’s community to hustle and fix your household back home and instead of focusing on what brought you there, you begin misbehaving. They’re the ones allowing you do that.

You don’t have the right to thwart the peace of the people hosting you. That’s what some Nigerians did, and do in South Africa, creating nuisance everywhere for money. 😂🎉😂
