Alec Baldwin honored his late “Beetlejuice” co-star Catherine O’Hara after she passed away on Friday.
“Catherine O’Hara was one of the greatest comic talents in the movie business,” Baldwin told Page Six in a statement via his rep Friday.
“She had a quality that was all her own and my sympathy goes out to Bo and their family,” he added.

Alec’s wife, Hilaria, also paid tribute to the “Schitt’s Creek” actress, sharing a video of her husband and O’Hara on their 1988 film set with the caption, “Rest in peace.”
“RIP Catherine O’Hara,” she added, calling her a “legend.”
In the Tim Burton-directed cult classic, Alec portrays Adam Maitland, a recently deceased man who, along with his wife, hilariously haunts his own former home after it’s taken over by Catherine O’Hara’s character, an eccentric interior designer, Delia Deetz.

Their co-stars included Winona Ryder, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones and Michael Keaton.
Keaton also paid tribute to his former castmate, writing on Instagram, “We go back before the first Beetlejuice. She’s been my pretend wife, my pretend nemesis and my real life, true friend.”
He added, “This one hurts. Man am I gonna miss her. Thinking about Beau as well.”
O’Hara died in her California home Friday. She was 71.

“Prolific multi-award-winning actress, writer, and comedian Catherine O’Hara died today at her home in Los Angeles following a brief illness,” her agency, Creative Artists Agency, confirmed in a statement to Page Six.
Page Six reported that the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed they responded to a call at her home at 4:48 a.m. before transporting her to the hospital in “serious” condition.
Her cause of death has yet to be revealed, however, she was allegedly absent from filming Season 2 of “The Studio” last week.
“She was scheduled to film, but they reworked the schedule to focus on scenes without her character,” a production source told The Sun.

O’Hara’s film schedule was allegedly moved around due to “personal matters.”
“Her death comes as a total shock to everyone on the show. She was the most beloved person on the set,” the production source said, adding, “This is a huge loss not just for ‘The Studio,’ but for the world in general. She’s a legend.”
The source believes O’Hara did not film any scenes for the Apple TV show before passing.
