Al-Nassr moved back to the top of the Saudi Pro League after they thrashed Al-Najma 5-0 at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot early on before Kingsley Coman, Sadio Mane, and a brace from Inigo Martinez completed the rout for Jorge Jesus’ side.
A needless challenge from Abdullah Al Hawsawi allowed Al-Nassr to take the lead after just seven minutes, and Ronaldo made no mistake from the penalty spot, smashing it beyond the reach of the goalkeeper.
Coman then deservedly doubled the visitors’ lead just after the half-hour mark. Marcelo Brozovic’s low cross was initially cut out, but the ball still fell kindly for Coman, who found the bottom-right corner on the turn.
And it was 3-0 shortly before half-time, with Victor Braga’s unorthodox attempt to stop Inigo Martinez’s long-range strike not paying off as the Spanish defender found the back of the net from close to 30 yards out.
Mane fired into the top-left corner and left the goalkeeper no chance after being teed up by Ronaldo, while Inigo Martinez got his second in the 80th minute, looping Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s corner into the far corner.

Data Debrief: Ronaldo stars again
It was one-way traffic for most of the match, with Al-Nassr producing 2.81 expected goals (xG) from 16 shots to Al-Najma’s 0.24 from just three shots.
And Ronaldo led the way for the visitors, with the Portuguese forward responsible for 1.17 of Al-Nassr xG as he recorded the most shots (four) and touches in the box (five) of any player.
He has now scored 95 goals in 98 Saudi Pro League matches, with 26 of those strikes coming from the penalty spot.
