Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday commiserated with the household of the forty ninth Ooni of Ife, Oba Adesoji Aderemi, on the dying of the final surviving widow of the monarch, Olori Dorcas Aderemi.
Adeleke, in a press release by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, described the passage of Olori Aderemi as an enormous loss.
The governor acknowledged the lifetime of service lived by the deceased, saying that she can be sorely missed for her unwavering dedication to traditions and the royal family.
He famous that on the Iyaale Aku Royal Home, a place she was elevated to in 2019, her liberal nature was evident in her mixture of custom along with her robust Christian religion.
He added that the deceased had continued to play a pivotal function in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, in honouring the legacy of his late husband who was concerned within the institution of the church.
