The Nigeria Police Pressure says it is going to be investigating allegation of electoral malpractice in opposition to certainly one of its officers in Imo state.
A video of an officer being manhandled by some youths who accused him of poll snatching on the Amakohia Ikeduru collation middle in the course of the November 11 governorship election went viral.
Reacting to the video, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Pressure, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, mentioned;
”The Nigeria Police Pressure is conscious of the allegation relating to this supposed police officer purportedly concerned in poll snatching on the Amakohia Ikeduru Collation Centre in Imo State. We don’t take this subject flippantly because it bothers on the integrity of the pressure and the aptitude of its members to keep up election integrity. We subsequently guarantee the general public {that a} thorough investigation shall be carried out, and we’ll replace you asap. It requires an intensive investigation. Thanks”
