OBO bagged a complete of three nominations within the 66th Grammys.
His fourth studio album, Timeless was nominated within the Greatest World Music Album class whereas Unavailable and Really feel had been nominated within the Greatest African Music Efficiency and Greatest World Music Efficiency classes, respectively.
Celebrating his achievement, the elated singer wrote through his X deal with, “3 nominations on the Grammys! Delay isn’t denial!”
Davido will contest together with his compatriot, Burna Boy and Arooj Aftab, Silvana Estrada, Béla Fleck, Falu and Gaurav Shah for the Greatest World Music Efficiency gong.
He would additionally lock horns with Burna Boy, Susana Baca, Shakti, and Bokante within the Greatest World Music Album class.
Within the Greatest African Music Efficiency class, he’ll face off with acquainted names – Asake, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy and South Africa’s Tyla.
