A business bus carrying 14 passengers and a driver was gutted by fireplace within the early hours of Saturday, Sept. 30, on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The Toyota Hiace, with quantity plate AFN117YL, took off from the Ijora motor park in Lagos and was headed to Ilorin when one of many tyres burst.
The bus instantly caught fireplace because it got here to a cease in the midst of the highway.
Fortunately, no passenger was burnt within the inferno although some sustained cuts and bruises whereas fleeing the burning bus.
All of the passengers’ belongings obtained burnt within the fireplace. Some misplaced their telephones, footwear, and necessary paperwork within the fireplace.
