10 accident victims rescued after commercial bus crashed on Third Mainland Bridge

10 severely injured accident victims had been rescued Tuesday, April 4, after a business bus crashed at Adeniji Adele Junction, inward Obalende by Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.

The victims had been in a business bus when the driving force misplaced management of the car and it will definitely rammed into the median earlier than it somersaulted, trapping all passengers inside.

Rescuers rushed to the bus and joined palms to drag out victims.

Although no life was misplaced, the victims had been significantly injured.

They had been rushed to the emergency unit of the Lagos Island hospital.

Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Division of the Lagos State Site visitors Administration Authority (LASTMA), Adebayo Taofiq, mentioned the victims had been rescued by operatives of the authority.

Taofiq mentioned: “LASTMA Adejunwon Olalekan (Bravo 1) who led the rescue operations confirmed that it was a lone accident of a business Mazda bus with registration no IKJ 969 YA.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the Mazda business bus misplaced management on account of overspeeding and somersaulted leaving 10 passengers with extreme accidents.

“These rescued 10 accident victims had been instantly rushed to Marina Common Hospital by Lastma personnel for pressing medical therapy,” he mentioned.
