Peace between Saudi Arabia and Israel is contingent on help from Washington in creating the Saudi civilian nuclear program and the availability of safety ensures, in keeping with a Thursday unique report by The Wall Street Journal citing discussions between the 2 international locations.

Relations with the US

Since US President Biden has argued with Saudi Arabia over oil costs, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the battle in Yemen, a deal would “mark a diplomatic victory” for Biden, the Journal reported. Normalization between Riyadh and Jerusalem may encourage different Arab and Muslim nations to comply with and speed up “US-led efforts to create a regional navy alliance to counter Iran,” the report stated.

Beforehand, Saudi Arabia maintained that peace with Israel may solely be doable as soon as Palestinians and Israelis reached a two-state answer.
