Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has predicted what could possibly be the destiny of the Aso Rock Chapel following the emergence of Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim presidency.

Okowa stated this whereas talking on Friday at a gathering with Isoko Church Leaders held at God’s Fountain of Life Mission in Oleh, Isoko South Native Authorities Space of Delta State.

It could be recalled that on Wednesday, March 1, All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was introduced because the winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC).

Reacting to the announcement, Okowa who served because the working mate to the Folks Democratic Celebration’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar stated that it isn’t God’s will that the Chapel in Aso Rock Villa in Abuja ought to be changed with Muslim-Muslim leaders as president and vice chairman.

Okowa’s assertion comes after the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) declared Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) – a Southern Muslim and his working mate, Kashima Shettima – a Northern Muslim, president and vice president-elect of the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

Governor Okowa stated that the Saturday’s presidential and nationwide meeting was compromised, saying that the result of the election “will not be the need of God”.

In line with him, the opposition “noticed the manipulation coming and prayed in opposition to the state of affairs by which we have now discovered ourselves”.

It’s not the need of God that the Chapel in Aso Rock shall be closed for 4 years on account of the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC.”
