Lagos police arrests caregiver caught on tape bodily abusing a toddler at a creche (video)

The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, says a caregiver who was caught on digital camera assaulting a toddler in a creche has been arrested.

 In a viral video, the caregiver might be seen beating the kid for pooing on herself. The beating intensified when the kid’s poo stained the caregiver’s gown. 

Neighbours recorded the incident and shared the video on-line. Following the general public outcry, the police went in the hunt for the caregiver and arrested her. Confirming her arrest, Hundeyin in a tweet wrote

‘’She has been arrested.

Crèche house owners must do higher screening of their workers.

Folks entrust their little lovelies to you.”
