The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Safety and Civil Defence Corps, Usman Alfadarai, has assured electoral officers and Lagos residents of safety throughout the forthcoming common elections.
Alfadarai made this assertion throughout his visits to the state Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, and the state Coordinator of the Nationwide Youth Service Corps, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, on Wednesday.
In line with an announcement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Oluwaseun Abolurin, and obtained by our correspondent, the commandant mentioned the visits had been vital as a part of the preparations for the forthcoming common elections.
