A Invoice looking for to ban cross-dressing in Nigeria didn’t go second studying on the Home of Representatives on Wednesday.

Deputy Speaker of the Home, Ahmed Wase, who presided over the day’s plenary, suggested the sponsor, Muda Umar, to step it down because it doesn’t seize the multi-cultural nature of the nation.

The laws was titled, ‘A Invoice for an Act to Amend Identical Intercourse Marriage (Prohibition) Act, 2013 to Prohibit Cross Dressing; and for Associated Issues (HB.1938).’

Members of the Home had been already elevating their voices as Umar led the talk on the second studying, making Wase to interject the sponsor, urging him to step down consideration of the invoice for additional session.
