NDDC asks Niger Delta youths to shun keep away from cultism, drug abuse

The Niger Delta Improvement Fee (NDDC) has cautioned youths within the area to desist from drug abuse and cultism.

Describing them as twin evils that may destroy their future, the NDDC was on Saturday, in Rivers, campaigning towards cultism and drug abuse.

NDDC mentioned the vices have been hindrances to the youths from harnessing their potentials, and contributing to the event and sustaining peace within the area.

Talking on the occasion in Port Harcourt, the Performing Managing Director, NDDC, Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua, warned the youths to withstand peer strain and dangerous associations able to luring them into abuse of drugs and cultism.

Mr Audu-Ohwavborua, who was represented by Wej Alazigha, the NDDC Director, Human Assets, additionally appealed to folks to observe the actions, actions of their youngsters and the type of firm they maintain.
