Afrigather The Lagos State Authorities has expressed its plans to incorporate extra competent youths in management positions and governance of the state.
The state Commissioner for Youth and Social Growth, Mr Olusegun Dawodu, disclosed this, based on a press release made obtainable to journalists on Wednesday, throughout an occasion organised by the 2021/22 Lagos Youth Ambassadors in Alausa, Ikeja.
He mentioned, “The door of the ministry is all the time open to the youths as a result of we have now the mandate to make sure their socioeconomic wants are catered for. We plan to incorporate extra competent youths in management positions and governance of the state.
“That is in tandem with the promise of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to present extra space to the youths as a part of his coverage of inclusion and catch these younger for management positions.”
On her half, the Everlasting Secretary within the Ministry, Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu, famous that the Ibile Youth Academy, a youth-oriented programme of the ministry, was initiated by the state authorities to arrange youths for management and inculcate in them the virtues of citizenship and patriotism.
