Joan Collins: We don’t want to present Harry and Meghan ‘extra oxygen’

Joan Collins is throwing some shade at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid their first return to the UK since June.

Throughout a guest appearance on Monday’s “Good Morning Britain,” the actress – who was selling her new musical movie, “Tomorrow Morning” – was requested if she had any ideas about “different Duchesses” proper now.

“Who might that be? I do not know,” Collins, 89, joked, seemingly referencing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“Do we have to give any of them extra oxygen?”

The interview was performed as Harry, 37, and Markle, 41, traveled to the UK, the place the “Fits” alum gave a speech about gender equality at the One Young World 2022 Summit in Manchester.

“We frequently hear folks say, ‘The time is now,’ however I’m going to double down on that, by saying your time is now,” Markle instructed the viewers on Monday.

“Oh, actually?” Collins responded. “I believe it’s somewhat good to be referred to as a diva, once in a while. I imply, it’s imagined to be a praise.”

Within the episode, Markle instructed Carey, 53, that she doesn’t personally “connect with” the “diva … persona,” to which she responded, “You give us diva moments generally, Meghan. Don’t act like [you don’t].”

“What sort of diva moments did I offer you?” the actress requested.

Carey then clarified that she was referring to Markle’s “visible[s]” and never her character, noting she “didn’t imply” something by the comment.

The “We Belong Collectively” singer doubled down on her clarification, later tweeting that she meant the remark in an “empowering” manner.

“Yes! I called her a diva, in essentially the most fabulous, beautiful, and empowering which means of the phrase!!!” Carey wrote.
