Ms Nwogwugwu spoke at a one-day sensitisation workshop organised by the Nigeria Affiliation of Girls Journalists (NAWOJ) in collaboration with Abia Ministry of Well being.
“At the moment, 40 suspected instances have been investigated and 9 confirmed in 5 Native Authorities Areas (LGA) of the state.
“Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Ikwuano and Umunneochi native authorities areas had two instances every, whereas Aba North had one case.
“Authorities has ensured that each one mandatory outbreak response actions have been activated.
