Afrigather Police Minister, Bheki Cele, has recommended the latest arrest of three males for the possession of a cocaine consignment valued at R400 million within the Western Cape.
The three have been arrested by the Directorate for Precedence Crime Investigation (Hawks), along with Crime Intelligence and Western Cape Visitors, whereas they have been travelling on the N1 in direction of Cape City.
Ministry spokesperson, Lirandzu Themba, stated the consignment was in a truck that was intercepted and enormous portions of medication have been discovered hid in false picket boards, stacked behind the truck.
