MTN Nigeria says its cell subscribers declined by 1.3 million to 70.2 million following the regulatory restrictions on soundless SIM sales and activation.

The telecommunication company acknowledged this in its unaudited outcomes for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022, and made accessible to the Nigerian Change Ltd. on Thursday in Lagos.
